Kashika Misra won her girls age category easily

Continuing its busy season of competitive golf, Delhi Golf Club hosted the Delhi Golf Society’s NCR Juniors Cup a week after the IGU’s NCR Amateur.

Kashika Misra shot 84-80-78 (26-over 242) to win the Category B Girls section of the 4th edition of the Junior NCR Cup. Mishra won by nine strokes from Ayesha Gupta. The 54-hole event was played from April 27-29.

In the boys section, Aarav D Shah won his second Junior NCR Cup title with scores of 70-77-73 ( 4-over 220).

In Category A, Rakshit Dahiya (76-77-76) entered the final round tied for the lead and shot 4-over 76 to beat Aarnav Sharma by two strokes.

In the girls section, Ragini Navet claimed the title by two shots with scores of 80-76-74 (230) against Mannat Brar’s 78-76-78 (232).

Sohang Har Kantor (133) and Myra Kumar (154) were the winners in Cat. C, which was played over 36 holes at the par-62 Peacock course.

In Cat. D, Chaitanya Pandey (130) continued his dominance, winning by a massive 12 strokes over Krishnav Gupta. In the girls section, Anushka Gupta was even more dominating, as she shot 73-65 (138) to beat Dalisha Chetry by 15 strokes.

In Cat. E, the tournament was played over 18 holes (9 holes each day). Divjot Gupta 35-35 (70) emerged the winner by a stroke over Jot Sarup Gupta in the boys section while Amaira Gulati shot 39-75 (74) to win the girls section by a whopping 20 strokes over the trio of Devina Rai Vaish, Divleen Kaur & Juno Kalya

The tournament saw over 140 entries in five different categories each for boys and girls.
