NDTV unveiled the NDTV Golf Pro-Am — a premium tournament series where professional golfers and corporate leaders will compete side by side. Designed to be India’s most exclusive corporate golf event, it marks a fresh chapter in NDTV’s growing portfolio of marquee experiences. This was announced at the NDTV World Summit 2025 at Bharat Mandapan in the capital, an event that brought together the worlds of sport, business, and leadership.
The launch stage was graced by Kapil Dev, Cricket Legend and President, Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI); Amitabh Kant, Governing Body Member, PGTI, Former CEO NITI Aayog and G20 Sherpa, ; Amandeep Johl, CEO, PGTI; David Howell, Five-time European Tour Golf Champion and Member of Europe’s Victorious 2004 and 2006 Ryder Cup Teams; and Ajeetesh Sandhu, Leading Indian Golfer on the Asian Tour.
Their presence reflected both the scale and the vision behind the initiative — to give golf in India the spotlight it has long deserved.
Amitabh Kant captured the promise of the sport:

Kapil Dev, Cricket legend and Former India Captain said:
‘This is one game you can play at any age — with your family, your friends, your colleagues. That’s what makes it so special.’ He also thanked NDTV for giving golf a larger platform and visibility.
The Journey Ahead.
The NDTV Pro-Am will soon travel across India — from Delhi to Bengaluru, Mumbai to Kolkata — creating a multi-city circuit that combines competition with camaraderie, and sport with leadership.
