24-year-old Indian-American and Hero brand ambassador, Akshay Bhatia posted 9-under 275 following rounds of 73-63-69-70 for a T-16 finish at the US$ 20mn RBC Heritage at Harbour Town Golf Links in South Carolina.
Bhatia, a three-time winner on the PGA Tour earned US$ 399,250 for his efforts, moving him to 7th on the FedEx Cup rankings.
Bhatia has played in 9 events this season, with a best-finish of a T-3 at WM Phoenix Open in February.
Sahith Theegala, another Indian-American and also a Hero brand ambassador, finished one-shot behind at 8-under 276 with rounds of 69-67-72-68 for a T-25 finish at the event.
Theegala currently stands 26th on the FedEx Cup rankings with US$ 2.2mn in earnings from 10 cuts in 11 events this season.
