Yuvraj Singh Sandhu has already won twice on the PGTI this season

The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) is back on the tee after a three-month summer hiatus, launching the second half of its 2025 season with the ₹1 crore Coal India Open at Kensville Golf & Country Club in Ahmedabad from August 5–8.

The tournament marks the first of 15 scheduled events from August through December, culminating in the Tata Open with over ₹17 crore in prize money and the added incentive of a coveted DP World (European) Tour card awarded to the No 1 player in the final 2025 PGTI Rankings.

Leading the field in Ahmedabad are Yuvraj Singh Sandhu, a two-time PGTI winner this season and 2020 Olympian Udayan Mane. Also in the fray is Om Prakash Chouhan, who made headlines in 2023 with a breakthrough season on the PGTI that earned him full playing rights on the European (DP World) Tour in 2024.

A total of 126 players—123 professionals and three top amateurs—will vie for early momentum in what promises to be a pivotal stretch of the season.
