Ajeetesh Sandhu secured his Asian Tour card for the 2025 season by finishing 27th at the 2024 Qualifying School

The journey to the 2026 Asian Tour officially begins, as the Tour has announced dates and venues for its Qualifying School—with six First Stage events and a high-stakes Final Stage in Thailand.

This year marks a milestone: for the first time, Africa will host a Q-School event. Thanks to the support of the Royal Moroccan Golf Federation and Association Trophée Hassan, Royal Dar Es Salam in Morocco will host Section A from October 21–24, using the Blue Course for this historic debut.

Section B returns to the U.S. at Soboba Springs Golf Club in California, from November 4–7. The remaining four First Stage events will be played in Thailand this December—at Grand Prix Golf Club, Pattana Sports Club, and Phoenix Gold Golf Bangkok.

All First Stage events will be 72-hole stroke play, with the top 18% of each field advancing.

The Final Stage—held again at Lake View Resort & GC in Hua Hin from December 17–21—is where the real test begins. Over five rounds, a maximum of 240 players will battle it out, with just 35 earning full Asian Tour cards for 2026.

Last season, Ajeetesh Sandhu—a former Asian Tour winner—earned his playing rights for 2025 by finishing 27th at Qualifying School, becoming the only Indian to secure his card through the rigorous qualifying route. He was joined by seven other Indians who advanced to the Final Stage, though none made the final cut.

Rahil Gangjee returned to the main tour by finishing third on the Asian Development Tour (ADT) Order of Merit, earning promotion through consistent play. Meanwhile, Gaganjeet Bhullar, an 11-time Asian Tour champion, and Yuvraj Singh Sandhu of Chandigarh, who captured his first ADT in 2023, comfortably retained their cards by finishing 49th and 57th, respectively—both securing spots inside the top 60 of the 2024 Asian Tour Rankings.

For aspiring pros, it’s more than a qualifier—it’s a shot at a global career.
