Three of the National Capital Region’s top courses will host the second edition of the Qutab Golf League (QGL), which tees off at India’s first public course, Qutab Golf Course (QGC), on November 7, 2025. Over four weeks and five match days, the league will also visit the Jack Nicklaus-designed ITC Classic Golf Resort and the Greg Norman-designed Jaypee Greens Golf Resort.
Created by Game of Life Sports (GOLS) founders Amit Kharbanda and Samant Sikka in partnership with Digraj Golf Inc. (DGI), QGL aims to be one of India’s most enjoyable and inclusive golf leagues. The 2025 edition features 10 teams and 159 players, with each team carrying 14–16 golfers.
Among the field are leading IGU Order of Merit players including Karan Chauhan, Keya Badugu, Yogya Bhalla, Zara Anand and Mehak Lohan, spread across franchises such as Charlie’s Angels, Swinging Shers, Icons, Ishum Eagles, Casual Gurus, Vox Spartans, Metro Legends, Albatross, Drive Squad and Ultimate Stix.
Inclusivity is built into the format: every team must include at least two women, one junior (under 18) and one player from the government, armed forces or senior (60+) category, with one player allowed to satisfy multiple criteria.
QGL will be played in a round-robin format over the first four match days, followed by the Finals at QGC on December 6, 2025. Matches use match play — singles on the first two days, four-ball better-ball on the next two — with players competing off 75% of their handicaps.
