Rayhan Thomas has made 7 cuts in 19 events this season

Rayhan Thomas, the 25-year-old Dubai-born Indian pro, and graduate of Oklahoma State University in USA, the only Indian national playing the PGA Tour’s Korn Ferry Tour, finishing tied-30th at the US$1 million NV5 Invitational in Illinois. Thomas posted rounds of 66-65-67-69 to finish at 13-under-par—another step forward in what has been a promising start to his young professional career.

Thomas, who received his Dubai Golden Visa earlier this year, turned professional in June 2024 after a successful collegiate run at Oklahoma State University. In his debut season, he secured playing rights for the Korn Ferry Tour by finishing T26 at the PGA Tour Qualifying Tournament’s Final Stage, earning a minimum of 12 starts for 2025.

So far this season, he has teed it up in 19 events, making seven cuts, with a best finish of T-7 at the Bahamas Great Abaco Classic. Currently 103rd on the Korn Ferry Tour Rankings, Thomas is still in the hunt for a late-season surge. Under the tour’s new qualification system, the top 20 players on the KFT Rankings at season’s end will earn direct promotion to the PGA Tour.

Whereas the only other Indian national playing on a pro tour in USA, Shubham Jaglan, who recently graduated from Florida Southern University,  earned his PGA Tour Americas ( a third rung pro tour)  card last month, made his second start at Ottawa Open and carded rounds of 68-73 to miss the cut at 3-under, following his tied-44th finish last week at the Bromont Open in Canada.
