Rohit wins IGU Northern India Championship

Rohit continues to dominate IGU rankings

Rohit, ranked No. 1 on the Indian Golf Union (IGU) Gentlemen rankings, clinched the Northern India Amateur Championship at Noida Golf Club. He completed rounds of 73-70-67-74 to finish at 4-under 284, tying with Vinamra Anand, the No. 3 ranked player, who posted rounds of 72-70-72-70.

Entering the final round with a four-stroke lead, Rohit faced a challenge as Vinamra shot a final-round 70, while Rohit carded a 74, bringing them to a tie after 72 holes. However, Rohit maintained his composure in the playoff to secure the victory and reinforce his top ranking.

Jaiveer from Karnataka finished third with a total of 3-under 285, thanks to rounds of 72-71-73-69.
