Samsung commences Live streaming of PGA TOUR events

Samsung Electronics to broadcast live golf in the UK & Asia-Pacific

In a significant development, the PGA TOUR has joined forces with Samsung Electronics, Inc., to broadcast the world’s premier golf tour to viewers in the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, India, and South Korea. This collaboration, officially unveiled on Wednesday, is set to go live this week, opening up new avenues for Indian golf enthusiasts.

The PGA TOUR channel, a prized addition to the Samsung TV Plus lineup, will be accessible to viewers free of charge in India, which Indian golf fans have been deprived of for some years now.

Samsung TV Plus, recognized for its free ad-supported TV (FAST) service, is already renowned for delivering an extensive array of entertainment to an expansive user base, boasting over 2,300 live channels and a vast library of on-demand movies and TV shows—all available to hundreds of millions of users worldwide, completely free of charge.

Fans can enjoy free PGA TOUR programming on their Samsung Smart TVs and mobile and tablet devices 24/7, in selected regions, with an extensive offering of award-winning content from PGA TOUR Entertainment, including PGA TOUR Originals such as “Tiger Tracks” and “Tiger Tales,” official films, round and tournament recaps, as well as PGA TOUR player profiles.
