Chandigarh’s Ajeetesh Sandhu, 32, shot 72-70-75 (1-over 217) to finish tied-29th at last week’s 54 hole US$1.4mn Porsche European Open in Hamburg, Germany which finished last Monday, thereby adding US$11,000 (₹8 lakhs) to his kitty.
This is Sandhu’s best finish of the current European Tour season, in which he has made three out of six cuts since starting his European Tour journey in April.
Shubhankar Sharma, the only other Indian in the field shot 78-75(9-over 153) to miss the cut.
