After successfully completing its inaugural season in 2021, the Shubhankar Sharma Junior Invitational Series completed its first event of the 2022 season in Ambala, Punjab on April 9-10.
The tournament saw participation from over 70 enthusiastic golfers in six different age categories – A, B, C, D & E & F. From there shortlisted players will play on the Junior Series in 2022, which will conclude with the Final Tour Championship. The winners of the Tour Championship will be considered to play international sponsored events.
The series was established by Shubhankar Sharma, who turned pro at 17. Sharma has won two events on the European Tour and is the youngest Indian to play all four men’s Majors, a feat he accomplished in 2018.
