Super October awaits Indians

October 2026 is shaping up as a rare feast for Indian golf fans, with three international tournaments lined up across Bengaluru and Delhi.

The first is the US$2 million International Series India, which returns Oct. 8–11 at Prestige Golfshire, Bengaluru. The event moves from DLF Golf & Country Club, Gurugram, which hosted the inaugural edition last January and drew a field that included 2024 U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau alongside several LIV golfers.

A week later comes the flagship week on the Indian calendar: the US$4 million DP World Tour India Championship, scheduled for Oct. 15–18 at Delhi Golf Club. The venue remains unchanged after last year’s high-wattage edition, headlined by 2025 Masters champion Rory McIlroy and featuring Ryder Cup names including Viktor Hovland, Shane Lowry, Tommy Fleetwood and captain Luke Donald.

The month was set to close with the Hero Women’s Indian Open, typically staged at DLF Golf & Country Club. The event was initially expected to run Oct. 25–28, but the updated Ladies European Tour calendar currently lists the event as TBC, with dates still awaited.

If the women’s dates fall into place, October won’t just be busy — it will be one of the most stacked months for live international golf India has had in years.
