Tata Group’s TCS forays into Golf sponsorship

 Business of Golf

On July 22nd, Global IT major Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced its partnership with the US$ 1.2mn Dutch Open to enhance the participant and spectator experience leveraging its digital technologies.

The IT firm has up to now been regularly associated with various sporting events and has recently signed sponsorship deals for TCS London Marathon, TCS Amsterdam Marathon and it even renewed its sponsorship with TCS New York Marathon, in a pledge to invest up to $40mn in global marathon events.

The Dutch Open is scheduled from Sep. 16-19 at Bernardus Golf Club in Cromvoirt, Netherlands, where top Indian European tour players Gaganjeet Bhullar and Shubhankar Sharma are expected to make an appearance.

We welcome Indian brand TCS into golf, which makes immense business sense as so many global business decision makers follow the sport and will become even more aware of the expertise and credentials of brand TCS.
