Tvesa Malik is looking for a high finish on the LET in 2022

Tvesa Malik shot 73-71-73-72 (1-over 289) to finish tied for 49th at the US$ 320,000 Madrid Ladies Open. This was Malik’s sixth tournament of the season on the LET, and the fourth time she has made the cut. 

Amandeep Drall and Vani Kapoor were also in the field but both missed the cut, set at even-par 144. Kapoor narrowly missed it by a stroke with rounds of 72-73 (145) while Drall shot 77-76 (153).

The 25-year-old Malik, who finished 18th in the 2021 Ladies European Tour rankings and was awarded an automatic spot on the 3 member Asian Games Indian Ladies team next plays the US$ 1mn Aramco Team Series from May 12-14 at Thai Country Club, Bangkok.
