25 year-old Women’s world No.1 tennis player Ashleigh Barty, who won Wimbledon, is also a low handicap golfer at her home course Brookwater GC near Brisbane, Australia. In September 2020, Barty had claimed the Brookwater Golf Club women’s club championship title with a commanding 7&5 triumph in the matchplay final where she plays off a handicap of 4 and spends time with her partner Garry Kissick, a golf pro.
Barty was also invited to join Tiger Woods at a special celebrity golf event to kick off the 2019 President’s Cup golf tournament in Melbourne.
In 2014-15, Barty also played in cricket’s Women’s Big Bash League for Brisbane Heat, proving that she is just a phenomenal athlete.
