Diksha Dagar moves to 12th in LET rankings
India’s leading women’s golfer in Europe, Diksha Dagar, continued her consistent run on the Ladies European Tour (LET) with a tied-38th finish at the US$2 million ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open. Facing a world-class field featuring several of the LPGA’s top stars preparing for the AIG Women’s Open, Dagar held her own at Dundonald Links with rounds of 69-76-71-71 to finish at 1-under 287.
The 24-year-old Arjuna Awardee and two-time LET winner earned 20.25 points for her performance, which helped her move up to 12th place on the LET Order of Merit. So far in 2025, Dagar has collected five top-10 finishes, including a runner-up showing at the Lalla Meryem Cup in the 15 events she has played.
This week’s event was won by England’s Lottie Woad, the former World No.1 amateur, who continued her rapid rise by capturing her first pro title. Woad, who turned professional just last month after winning the KPMG Women’s Irish Open as an amateur, dominated the field with rounds of 67-65-67-68 to finish at 21-under—three clear of the nearest challenger.
Former World No.1 Nelly Korda also featured prominently, finishing fifth at 13-under, capping a solid week ahead of the year’s final major. For Dagar, her steady play among the game’s best is a timely confidence boost before she tees it up this week at the AIG Women’s Open at Royal Porthcawl.
