Yuvraj Singh registers back to back wins on amateur circuit

Kapurthala’s Yuvraj Singh beat Shaurya Bhattacharya of Delhi in the 36-hole match play East India Amateur final at Royal Calcutta Golf Club on November 21st to complete back to back wins on the Indian Golf Union’s (IGU) men’s amateur circuit.
Earlier this month, Yuvraj shot 67-72-63-71 at Golmuri Golf Club, Jamshedpur to win the Jharkhand Amateur, by a shot over Rohan Patil of Pune.

Yuvraj, who has started shining just recently had previously missed out on a title by a shot, when he finished runner-up at the 2020 Faldo Series Asia India Championship held at Jaypee Greens.
Beaming with confidence, he is now headed to Mumbai for the Western India Amateur Championship scheduled at BPGC from Nov. 29-Dec. 3 for a possible treble of wins.
