Azerbaijan Tourism Conducts Tour Operators Conference

Seventeen of the golf industry’s leading Tour Operators visited Azerbaijan to discover the opportunities for growing golf tourism. The visit, supported by the Azerbaijan Tourism Board, in association with the International Association of Golf Tour Operators (IAGTO), was a successful one. The four-day programme included city tours and hotel stays at the Quba Palace Hotel and the newly opened Dreamland Golf Hotel in Baku, whilst players competed in the Azerbaijan Golf Cup.

IAGTO’s Callum Endicott summed up the event, saying, “An impeccable week here in Azerbaijan has truly showcased what the country can offer to golf tourists. I can say with confidence that the tourism Board and teams at both golf courses have delivered an exceptional experience to all Tour Operators in attendance. We look forward to working closely in the future to promote Azerbaijan as a golf destination.”
