The event has been given the green light as scheduled, but still, there won’t be any spectators allowed at the Delhi Golf Club premises to enjoy the competition live, as per the latest government guidelines on Unlock 2.0, enforced until July 31st.

The Unlock 2.0 guidelines

“After extensive consultation with states and UTs (Union Territories), it has been decided that schools, colleges and coaching institutions will remain closed till July 31,” the home ministry said. “All activities, except the following, shall be permitted outside containment zones: metro rail, cinema halls, gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres, bars, auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places.”

To get the event going, the organisers have decided to play the match behind the closed doors, maintaining proper social distancing and safety guidelines as announced by the central and state governments.

The fans and viewers can still enjoy the match , as it’s going to be televised on Eurosport channel, details on which to be shared soon.
