
The US$2 million Singapore Open, part of the International Series on the Asian Tour, featured 11 Indians, with only three making the halfway cut — Gaganjeet Bhullar, Pukhraj Singh Gill and Karandeep Kochhar.
11-time Asian Tour winner and Arjuna Awardee Bhullar slipped on the final day with a 73 to finish T-26 missing out on a chance to earn a coveted spot at The Open Championship. The Singapore Open offered two qualifying places for the major, scheduled from July 16–19 at Royal Birkdale.
Pukhraj Singh Gill, finished strong with a 67 to also finish T-26.
Karandeep Kochhar, currently eighth in the Asian Tour rankings, the best among Indians, finished 70th as he faltered on the weekend.
Shiv Kapur, made a hole-in-one at the 171-yard par-3 second hole in the opening round but sadly went on to miss the cut.

The Asian Tour now moves to Korea for the US$ 880,000 45th staging of the GS Caltex Maekyung Open from April 30-May 3.
