Golfoy.com, one of India’s largest golf retailers, launched ‘Golfoy Experience Studio’ on February 9 at Mohali Golf Range. The two-day programme brought the latest, world-class golf equipment readily to golfers and budding golfers alike and was open to all. It was especially beneficial to amateur golfers as this was an opportunity for them to compare and select the most suitable equipment according to their game and physique.
Kunal Singhai, Operations Head at Golfoy.com, said: “The objective of the Experience Studio was to let people try and compare all the latest golf equipment in the market. Golfoy.com is bringing together some top golf brands under one roof; the purpose is to provide the golfers with a where they can try and feel the latest equipment from every golf brand present in India.”

The studio offers a multi-brand demonstration and club fitting experience for beginners and amateur golfers and endeavours to be a one-stop destination for golfers of all levels looking to test new equipment.
Participating brands included Callaway, Cleveland, Mizuno, PING, Srixon, TaylorMade and Titleist, and each brand had a dedicated bay and hitting area. PING even launched the latest G410 driver in India at the event.
Equipment fitting experts from different golf companies personally guided the players and stressed on using the right golf equipment as it reduces injuries and improves the game.

Khushaman Raj Sidhu, a professional golfer who visited the premises on the day of the demonstration, seemed optimistic: “This is a one-of-its-kind event wherein it becomes easier for the golfer to choose from a variety of available products. We need more of such experiences to try out the best equipment.”

Ankush Sethi, Country Head for PING was happy with the response: “They got a good response from golfers, everybody wanted to try out our new drivers and whack the ball… A win-win for both golfers as well as brands.”
Rahul Khanna, National Distributor for Srixon and Cleveland in India, was also among those holding two thumbs up. “It is easier for an average golfer to make an informed decision & buy the most suitable equipment according to their game. Every brand has a unique range of equipment, and by trying them under one roof helps, a budding golfer can make the right decision,” he said.
