The AVT Champions Tour was all set to hold its Pune edition from April 7-9, but due to the rapid increase in the number of COVID-19 cases and the Maharashtra state’s updated guidelines, the event was postponed until further notice.

The AVT Champions Tour  is open to amateur golfers over age 50. The Tour last played at Eagleton Golf Resort in January, after a successful return at Gurgaon’s Classic Golf & Country Club in November which saw over 110 enthusiastic senior golfers compete.

The AVT Champions Tour, backed by well-known Chennai based industrialist and golf enthusiast Dilip Thomas, Managing Director, AVT Group, was conceptualised to give a competitive platform for golfers aged 50 and above across India and since then has staged six tournaments to date.
