India’s top-ranked Ladies Amateur golfer Mannat Brar will spearhead India’s six-member squad at the 2025 Women’s Amateur Asia-Pacific (WAAP) Golf Championship, scheduled to take place from March 6-8 at the seaside Hoiana Shores Golf Club, Vietnam. Brar has gained significant experience on both national and international circuits. Alongside her, the Indian Golf Union’s squad includes Zara Anand, Saanvi Somu, Heena Kang, Kashika Misra, and Guntas Kaur Sandhu, all of whom have delivered strong performances on the domestic IGU circuit.
The WAAP Championship, established by The R&A and the Asia-Pacific Golf Confederation ( APGC), has become the single most important women’s amateur tournament in the region as the winner amazingly gets invitations to three majors and other elite professional events, including:
- AIG Women’s Open
