Pro Golf – European Tour

After two weeks in the islands off the Spanish coast, the four Indian pros currently playing every week on the European Tour found their groove – all making the cut off to the final two rounds.

In a series of very low scoring tournaments at slightly shorter courses in remote islands with very little Covid,  winners have reached totals of 25 under par and better for the 72 holes.  For a change, the four Indians all finished below par for the first time.

Gaganjeet Bhullar with rounds of 69-67-70-66 shot 12-under 272, followed by SSP Chawrasia on 7-under 277, Shubhankar Sharma on 5-under 279 and Ajeetesh Sandhu at 3-under 281.

Shiv Kapur, who is based in Dubai, joined the tour this week in Spain for this event and missed the cut after posting even par 69-71.

Bhullar, Chawrasia and Sharma will play in the British Masters as the tour moves to the UK this week.
