Indian star Diksha Dagar nominated for International Sportsperson of the Year

19-year-old, Diksha Dagar of Delhi winner of the South African Open on the 2019 Ladies European Tour (LET) has been selected as one of the nominees for the International Sportsperson of the Year by Deaf Sports Personality of the Year Awards, a bi-annual ceremony which supports and celebrates hearing impaired sportspersons across the globe.

Diksha along with USLPGA Tour member, Aditi Ashok are in the running for a spot at the Tokyo Olympics golf event in 2021. Diksha has previously been a silver medallist at the 2017 Summer Deaflympics, winner of the World Deaf Championship 2018  and on the Hero Women’s Pro Tour (HWPGT), where she won as an amateur in 2017.
