13-year-old Kartik Singh who recently became the youngest ever to make the cut at Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship in Australia, shot -3 over three rounds (-3, +2, -2) to finish 2nd by a shot at the Selangor International Junior Golf Championship 2023 at Seri Selangor Golf Club in Malaysia.

The tournament featured more than 100 players belonging to the national teams from 10 countries including Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, China, Indonesia, etc.

Kartik was once again the youngest participant at the tournament. 

The icing on the cake is that this performance has earned Kartik a spot to play in the US$ 175,000 PKNS Selangor Masters, an Asian Development Tour (ADT) event scheduled this week at the same venue.

*Update – 

Kartik Singh carded rounds of 74-78 (+12) to miss the cut by six-strokes in his pro debut in Malaysia.
