Aditi Ashok made the 27th major appearance of her career
Unlike her explosive start to 2023 where she finished 1st – 3rd and 2nd in three appearances on the Ladies European Tour and then recorded her first Million Dollar season in America, 26-year-old Aditi Ashok, despite making 6 of 7 cuts this season so far, is still searching for a spark in 2024.
Although she made the cut at the first major of 2024, finishing 62nd last week at 7-over 295 at the US$ 5.2mn Chevron Championship in Texas, her best best-finish remains 21st at the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore earlier in February.
This week Aditi is in the field at JM Eagle LA Championship in Los Angeles, California, making the cut at 45th position after opening rounds of 73-70. Last year, this was her best finish ever on the LPGA Tour as she finished joint runner-up after losing out in a three-way playoff.
We will be hoping that Aditi can shoot in the 60’s this week and make a top 10 finish in LA as we follow her progress on the lucrative but hyper competitive LPGA Tour.
Aditi will be playing for India at the Paris Olympics in August 2024 along with Diksha Dagar, assuming both continue to be healthy and competitive.
