Yuvraj Singh Sandhu to officially join Asian Tour in 2024

Yuvraj Singh Sandhu, a six-time winner on the PGTI, of which five came last year alone, helping him finish 2nd on the Order of Merit, is all set to make his Asian Tour debut starting 2024.

Manu Gandas, the 2022 Order of Merit’s top-ranked player, transitioned to the European Tour through the collaborative efforts of DPWT, PGA Tour, and PGTI. This unique partnership granted him membership on the European Tour. Meanwhile, Sandhu directed his focus towards the Asian Development Tour, participating in five events, securing victory at the BNI Ciputra Golfpreneur Tournament, and achieving a notable tied-3rd finish in Indonesia. His outstanding performances briefly propelled him to the pinnacle of the ADT’s Order of Merit until he ventured into an Asian Tour event.

Last week, Sandhu received an exemption to the final stage of the European Tour qualifier, courtesy of the PGTI, European Tour, and PGA Tour partnership. Unfortunately, he posted a 5-over par score, falling short of the 72-hole cut, despite rounds of 73-74-73-71. In this competition, only the top 25 and ties secure European Tour eligibility.
