Amandeep Drall, the 28-year-old from Panchkula, was the lone Indian still with a chance of earning her full LET Card at the LET Q-School Final at Real Golf La Manga Club in Spain.

Drall shot 71-76-71-73 for a 3-over total of 291, good enough for 31st place with one round to go. The 72-hole cut was set at 8-over 296. Only the top 65 golfers advanced to the final round that will be played today (Dec.20th).

Update: Amandeep Drall posted a final round 77 to finish tied-39th at 7-over 368, missing a full card by six strokes to earn a Category 15 status, giving her limited number of tournament exemptions next season.

The Top-20 & ties will receive LET Membership in Cat. 11 while the top-21 to 50 and ties will be eligible for LET Membership in Category 15.

Vani Kapoor, the other Indian who received direct entry to the Final Qualifier alongside Drall, finished in a tie for 99th. She was followed by the Gurgaon duo of Jahanvi Bakshi and Gaurika Bishnoi who finished tied-101st and tied-122nd respectively.

Bishnoi and Bakshi, who made it through the LET’s Pre-Qualifier last week, and Kapoor will be given Category 18 membership on tour. This entitles them to conditional status and a limited number of entries to tournaments.

Status received upon successful completion:

Category 11: Qualifying-School Top 20 – Players finishing Nos. 1-20 (and ties)

Category 15: #21-50 Qualifying-School – Players finishing Nos. 21-50 (and ties)

Category 18: Remaining Final Qualifiers – Players finishing outside the Top 50 and ties

A total of 10 Indian players had entered the LET Qualifying event, making it the largest Indian contingent ever.
