Avani’s remarkable total score of 6-under 210 was just enough to edge out the Swedish pair of Isabell Ekstrom and amateur Matilda Bjorkman, by one stroke.

Avani went 5 under in a 7 hole stretch to end the final round and claim the one stroke victory.

Earlier this year, Avani had shown what she is capable of when she won the individual title by a whopping 10 stroke margin at the prestigious Queen Sirikit Cup ( Asia Pacific Amateur Championship)  in Manila and now has her eyes set on the Asian Games in Hangzhou, China next month where she will be the youngest team member.

Avani will next play on a sponsor invitation on the main Ladies European Tour at the  US$ 320,000 Big Green Egg Open,  in the Netherlands from Sep. 8-10.
