AVT Champions Tour Chandigarh winners
The conclusion of the AVT Champions Tour in Chandigarh showcased riveting golf action, highlighted by local talent Sandeep ‘Bobby’ Sandhu’s impressive round of 70, clinching victory over overnight leader Jit Singh.
The event boasted participation of 105 players at the prestigious Chandigarh Golf Club. Spanning across various age categories saw players hailing from cities such as Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and of course, Chandigarh. Each division witnessed intense battles culminating in nail-biting finishes. Sandeep ‘Bobby’ Sandhu emerged as the undisputed champion of the Senior Tour for the 2023-2024 season.
Looking ahead, the inaugural event of the 2024-2025 season is slated to take place at the KGA in Bangalore this June. Additionally, the AVT Tour honoured Mr. Vikramjit Singh for his remarkable lifetime achievements, recognizing his outstanding international and national victories, including his notable achievement as a five-time champion of the All India Amateur Championship.
