Summer holidays is time for clubs to announce their Junior Training Programs

With the summer school holidays around the corner, most major golf clubs in India are getting ready with their junior coaching programs.

The Delhi Golf Club who pioneered such programs back in 1988 has announced the schedule for its highly sought after summer Junior Training Program. The program will start on May 18 and will include four different 10-day sessions for children aged 8 to 17. It is open to the children of members and non-members alike. Around 200 juniors are expected to participate under well-known category A coaches Jasjit Singh, Vikram Sethi and Ali Sher, as well as former star Tour pro Gaurav Ghei who recently has started coaching at Delhi GC.

Each camp will conclude with a prize distribution ceremony where participants will be felicitated according to their age, ability, and performance.

Over the years, the programme has earned a reputation for producing top class professional golfers. European Tour player Shiv Kapur, two time PGA Tour winner Daniel Chopra, Asian Tour winner Rashid Khan, and former International amateur Gauri Monga are all past participants of Delhi Golf Club’s JTP.

Entry Forms are available in the Main Club Office.
