23-year-old Diksha Dagar, who last week registered a strong tied-3rd place finish in Johannesburg, carded 73-70-74-71 to register a tied-24th place finish at even-par 288 at the US$ 340,000 at Investec SA Women’s Open at Erinvale Country and Golf Estate in Cape Town, South Africa, a tournament she won back in 2019.
Last month, Diksha played two events on the LPGA’s Epson Tour in USA where she finished 26th and 15th.
The other Indians playing in Johannesburg, Vani Kapoor, Ridhima Dilawari and Tvesa Malik, missed their cuts.
The tour will now head to South Korea for its US$ 1mn Aramco Team Series – Korea from May 10-12 at New Korea Country Club in Seoul and will see Diksha and Mysore’s Pranavi Urs, playing her first full season on the LET, earn coveted starts. The Aramco team series features 36 teams of 3 pros and one amateur compete for the US$1 million prize fund.
