Diksha will look to Epson Tour to earn LPGA tour card

23-year-old Diksha Dagar, who finished third on the LET rankings in 2023, played the US$1 million Aramco Team Series event in Florida last month and then played two events on the Epson Tour, the second rung of the LPGA women’s pro tour in US; where the top 15 ranked players at the end of the year automatically earn LPGA playing rights the following year.

Last week, Diksha played the US$ 300,000 Epson Tour Florida event and finished 26th.

A week prior, she finished strongly with a 67 for a tied-15th place finish at 1-under par.

Last November, Diksha missed earning full playing rights on the 2024 main LPGA tour when she missed by one stroke in the gruelling 108 hole event.

Diksha has to juggle playing Epson Tour v European Tour this year. Whereas the LET events are staged with more fanfare and with somewhat higher prize money, the Epson Tour offers a direct route to the lucrative LPGA, where the prize money has gone up to US$118 million in 2024, a 69% increase from the US$70 million in 2023.
