Hollywood A-listers and couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones embarked on a month-long journey in India. During their visit, the renowned duo, celebrated for their shared passion for golf, took delight in exploring Mercara Downs GC in Coorg. Pictured above alongside IK Anil, the club captain (extreme right), and Kumar Subbiah.
The couple indulged in a round of golf and were “very down to earth and pleasant to host,” said IK Anil, the Club Captain.

Reportedly, Douglas plays off a 10 hcap and Catherine a 14 hcap . Both have been regulars for many years at the celebrity studded annual Alfred Dunhill Links pro am, the PGA Tour’s annual Pebble beach pro am and other celebrity events.
A few other Hollywood A list celebrities who love golf and are regularly host their own pro-ams include –
- Will Smith – The Men in Black series actor holds a 15-handicap and is often seen posting about his golf updates on his socials.
- Justin Timberlake – The four-time Emmy Award winning musician is also a business partner of Tiger Woods, and plays a solid 4.3 handicap.
- Pierce Brosnan – Pierce Brosnan, OBE, known for his James Bond role in “Die Another Day” makes regular trips to Hawaii to enjoy golf.
- Bill Murray –The now 73-year-old movie star is well known for his love of golf and is a regular at the tournament. He has a 16-handicap and loves to entertain the crowd on the course.
- Ray Romano – The actor and comedian is another regular at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Best known for his starring role in the hit TV show ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’, the 65-year old plays off a handicap of 16.
