Nikita Arjun finishes 5th on the Cactus Tour

Nikita Arjun, the 27-year-old from Bangalore, posted scores of 72-73-77 (6-over 222) to finish 5th at the Morongo-Legends event on the Cactus Tour in California. 

Arjun trains under William Eldrenkamp at the Legacy Golf Resort in Arizona and has been playing on the Cactus, Symetra and Women’s All Pro Tour since  2018. She moved from Bangalore to the USA in 2014 and played college golf in South Carolina and Georgia.

Nishtha Madan in action in Florida

Nishtha Madan, formerly from Gurugram, shot 68-74-74 (even-par 216) to finish tied for 23rd at the US$ 200,000 Florida’s Natural Charity Classic on the Epson Tour, the official developmental tour of the LPGA. 

Madan opened with 4-under 68 at the Country Club of Winter Haven, Orlando to sit one shot behind the leader after the first day. Her second round 74 dropped her into a tie for 7th before another 74 pushed her further down the leaderboard. Madan was playing in her first event in 2022 as an official member of the prestigious Epson Tour.

In Jan. 2022, Nishtha made her LPGA debut on a sponsor exemption at the US$ 2mn Gainbridge LPGA in Florida, after earning her Epson Tour playing rights for the 2022 season by reaching the second stage of the LPGA Q-School earlier in October, 2021.
