Jeev Milkha Singh during the first round of the Trophy Hassan II on the PGA Champions Tour in Morocco
Padma Shri and Arjuna Awardee Jeev Milkha Singh made a significant mark at the PGA TOUR Champions Trophy Hassan II in Morocco, finishing tied-28th with a total score of 2-over 221. Playing on a sponsor’s invite, the veteran Indian golfer delivered a steady performance over three rounds at the Royal Golf Dar Es Salam’s Red Course from February 6-8, with his highlight moment coming in the final round—a hole-in-one on the par-3 14th hole.
Using a 7-iron from 164 yards, Jeev’s ace was the first hole-in-one of the 2025 PGA TOUR Champions season and the first at the Trophy Hassan II in Champions Tour history. The last recorded hole-in-one on the tour was by David Toms at the 2024 SAS Championship. This also marked Jeev’s first career hole-in-one on the PGA TOUR Champions.
Jeev’s final round included three birdies, reflecting a strong finish to his tournament debut at this prestigious $2.5 million event. The tournament, now in its 49th edition, ran alongside the Ladies European Tour’s (LET) Lalla Meryem Cup, which took place on the Blue Course.
Spain’s Miguel Angel Jiménez secured his 14th career PGA TOUR Champions victory with a two-stroke win over New Zealand’s Steven Alker. This win ties Jiménez with Fred Couples for the 18th most wins in Champions Tour history and ranks him fourth among active players in total wins. World Golf Hall of Famer Ernie Els, who won the season-opening Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai, carded a 4-under 69 in the final round, matching Jiménez for the best round of the day and securing third place.
Jeev now turns his focus to the Staysure Marbella Legends, a Legends Tour event in Spain from February 14-16, as he continues his strong start to the 2024 season.
