24-year-old Karandeep Kochhar from Chandigarh continued his strong showing on the Asian Tour with rounds of 67-66-69-68 to register a tied-25th finish at the US$ 2mn Hong Kong Open at Hong Kong GC in Hong Kong, China.
This is his second consecutive week of registering a top-Indian finish on the Asian Tour, following his tied-5th finish last week at the US$ 1.5mn Volvo China Open at Hidden Grace GC in China.
Kochhar earned US$ 18,000 for his efforts. In 2023, Kochhar has played in 17 events, making 11 cuts to stand 42nd on the Asian Tour’s Order of Merit with 425.47 points.
Rashid Khan was the other Indian to make the cut with rounds of 69-67-70-69 for a tied-59th finish at 5-under 275.
