17-year-old Krishnav Chopra, son of former international cricketer Nikhil Chopra has been invited for the prestigious Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship scheduled to be played in South Carolina from March 4-6.

Krishnav, a student of the Laurel Springs Online High School is among the 60 boys invited for the tournament. Recently, Krishnav finished runners up  at the IGU’s All India Junior Championship and Eastern India Juniors. 

The 7th annual Dustin Johnson World Junior Golf Championship’s field is open to Boys and Girls ages 13-18, and will feature a total of 90 players from around the world at TPC Myrtle Beach. 

With the support of Johnson, the #1 ranked player in the World for over 2 years, the tournament will provide juniors a PGA Tour-like experience, and the chance to test themselves against premier players from across the globe.

TPC Myrtle Beach, which was home to the Senior PGA Tour Championship & 2019 NCAA Men’s Regionals, was built with the idea of hosting Tour-level events. From names on their lockers to placards on the range and live scoring throughout the property, the tournament will provide players an experience similar to what DJ enjoys on Tour.
