Lahiri posts top-3 finish in International Series England

36-year-old LIV Golf Tour member Anirban Lahiri shot 70-69-69-68 (8-under 276) to finish a creditable third in the US$ 2mn International Series England hosted by Lee Westwood at Close House (Colt Course) in England, picking up a cheque of US$ 126,000 (₹1.04 crores) from the event.

Combined with his 2nd place finish in the International Series Vietnam earlier in April, Lahiri rises to 6th in the Series rankings with US$299,000 with only two starts out of five events played.

The International Series 2023 consists of 9 events with US$2 million average purses funded by LIV Golf Investments on the Asian Tour which represents a US$300 million commitment by LIV to the Asian Tour. Naturally this is a series well supported by players on the LIV Golf Tour and this week saw a number of big names compete.
