After contributing a strong 67 in the final round in LIV Golf’s opening event last week in Mexico which helped his team to a 2nd place finish, India’s sole representative on the LIV Tour, Anirban Lahiri, carded rounds of 66-70-74 for his team to finish 4th while he individually finished 40th.
Anirban’s team, the Crushers GC, led by the long-hitting Bryson DeChambeau and consisting of Charles Howell III and Paul Casey, posted a total score of 18-under par, finishing fourth.
Dustin Johnson, the 2020 Masters Champion and captain of the 4 Aces team, carded rounds of 67-62-69 to claim the title with a total score of 12-under par, one shot ahead of Talor Gooch from Brooks Koepka’s Smash GC team.
The Tour’s next event is scheduled from March 1-3 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
