Oman Golf Trophy winners head to Muscat for World Final

The third and final leg of the Oman Golf Trophy – India wrapped up on December 1 at the Classic Golf and Country Club in Gurgaon. Two winners from Delhi joined four from earlier events in Mumbai and Hyderabad, set to compete in the World Final in Muscat, Oman, from December 9-12.

The World Final will bring together players from seven nations, including India, Oman, Italy, Austria, Japan, Germany, and South Africa. Set against the backdrop of the scenic Al Mouj Golf Club, the World Final offers Indian winners a chance to compete on a prestigious global platform.

Beyond the competition, the Oman Golf Trophy has been a strategic initiative to foster business and tourism ties. Each of the three Indian events saw participation from 100 business leaders, senior executives, and policymakers. By engaging decision-makers from key industries, Oman aims to showcase its investment opportunities while promoting itself as a prime tourism and wedding destination for Indian travelers.

Co-sponsors ASK Private Wealth, MG Motors, and Bridgestone Sports played a crucial role in the event’s success, ensuring its smooth execution and wide participation. The successful turnout was evident during the awards ceremony in Gurgaon, which, like the earlier two editions in Mumbai and Hyderabad, witnessed a full house brimming with golf enthusiasts.

The finalists now eagerly turn their attention to Muscat for the World Final, where they will play three world-class courses. Oman’s efforts to blend sports, trade, and tourism have positioned this tournament as more than just a golf event, paving the way for long-term economic and cultural ties between the two nations.
