39-year-old Shiv Kapur, a three-time winner on the Asian Tour outdueled Rashid Khan in a playoff at the 1.5 crore Jeev Milkha Singh Invitational presented by TAKE Sports, at Chandigarh Golf Club for his first domestic win since the 2012 Shubhkamna Champions event on the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI).

The tournament was decided in a playoff for the fourth year in succession and Rashid Khan lost for the second time after losing to Ajeetesh Sandhu in 2019.

The Dubai based Kapur shot 64-68-67-70 while Rashid Khan scored 65-67-69-68 to finish on identical totals of 19-under 269. While Rashid hit the water, Shiv made par to win the PGTI’s marquee event.
