The Shubhankar Sharma Junior Invitational’s third event of its second season was played at the picturesque Jaypee Greens Wishtown, Greater Noida on July 21-22.
The tournament series, an initiative by Two-time European Tour winner Shubhankar Sharma, is open to juniors in all age categories from A to E. Shortlisted players go on to the Final Tour Championship, from where winners will be considered to play in international events.
The series was established by Shubhankar Sharma, who turned pro at 17. Sharma has won two events on the European Tour and is the youngest Indian to play all four men’s Majors, a feat he accomplished in 2018.
