In the 4th Leg of the Hero Women’s Pro Golf Tour at East Point Golf Club in Visakhapatnam, Sneha Singh, the 19-year-old winner of the 2023 Hero Women’s Golf Ranking, shot rounds of 70-69-72 (5-under 211), securing victory by two strokes. This triumph marked her second win of the season, with her first victory at the 2nd Leg held at BPGC in Mumbai.

Hitaashee Bakshi, the previous leg’s winner at Tollygunge in Kolkata, put up a solid fight with rounds of 72-72-69, clinching a runner-up finish at 3-under 213.

Zara Anand finished 3rd overall

A notable achievement came from 15-year-old amateur Zara Anand from Noida, who carded rounds of 74-72-69, securing a third-place finish with a total score of 1-under 215.

The tournament featured 20 women golfers, with only four managing to achieve a par or better total score. Seasoned professional Ridhima Dilawari from Gurgaon posted rounds of 73-77-66, earning her a fourth-place finish at an even-par 216.

Sneha’s victory put her neck and neck with Hitaashee in the rankings at ₹4,59,500 against ₹4,59,000 of HItaashee. This season should see an interesting battle between the two.

The next Hero WPGT legs will be played in Gurgaon at Golden Greens Resort (4 – 8 March) and DLF from 11-15 March.
