Team India excels at Mercedes World final

Team India celebrating their win in Stuttgart

Team Mercedes Benz India – consisting of Arjun Nowhar of Mumbai, Ravi Shah and Ranjeet Kakkad of Aurangabad who emerged winners in their handicap categories at the Mercedes Trophy Indian National final played in Pune last March were at the World Finals of the Mercedes Trophy 2023 in Stuttgart Germany.

The 6 foot 3 inch long hitting Arjun Nohwar clinched victory in the Longest Drive Competition, earning him a coveted chance to experience THE OPEN live next year at Royal Troon as a guest of Mercedes-Benz, the official automobile partner of The Open Championship.

Adding to the Indian team’s success, Mr. Ravi Shah secured 3rd place in Category B, while overall India finished a creditable 5th in the team standings out of 25 countries participating.

The MercedesTrophy India 2023 saw 23 qualifying regional rounds take place across the country from where 69 finalists and their spouses met in Pune for the National Final.
