The two top Indian amateur boys, Raghav Chugh and Shubham Jaglan, both from Delhi and with superb international junior records, are headed to USA to play on top college golf teams, a route that has been followed by almost every PGA Tour player in America.

Raghav has committed to joining Rice University in Texas while Shubham Jaglan will play for University of South Florida, in Tampa,  starting from this semester.

This  marks a significant trend of top Indian juniors moving to the US, for not just education but also golf, which bodes well for their future prospects.

Raghav has been previously the No.1 junior in India for over three years 2017-2019, been a top ranked academic student at Shri Ram School, Gurgaon and has participated and represented school and Delhi state in multiple sports, including cricket and basketball.

In July 2019, Raghav tasted success at the US Kids – Teen World Championship at Pinehurst in North Carolina with scores of 68,73,75 and has also won the Taiwan Junior and Thailand Junior events.
