The world’s oldest and biggest corporate golf tournament, the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC), which India has competed in regularly, held its 20th World Final in Portugal last November. The final typically includes celebrity appearances, gala social events and play on some breathtaking courses.
In 2021, India completed the qualifier for the World Final, the Chola World Corporate Golf Challenge – India in four cities with a national final in Gurgaon, but the winning team couldn’t get visas to make the trip to Portugal and will go to the next world final in summer 2022.

India, a regular participant, and multiple winner of the event, missed out on last year’s final tournament because of visa restrictions due to the Covid pandemic. For the new season, four regional qualifiers and a national qualifier were hosted across India.

Bengaluru – November 28th at Prestige Golfshire
Pune – December 4th at Oxford Golf Resort
Delhi – December 11th at ITC Classic Golf Resort
National Final – December 12th at ITC Classic Golf Resort
The World Final is scheduled for Summer of 2022, where National Finals winners – Shiv Moola and Kushaal Thackersey will represent India depending on the travel and visa situation at the time.
