Danish Verma emerged as the Category B and Combined A&B Category winner
Two events on the Indian Golf Union’s Junior Boys and Junior Girls/Ladies calendar concluded last month, with players earning valuable National Ranking points, which determines team selection for international junior competitions.
The IGU Rajasthan Junior Boys Golf Championship wrapped up at Rambagh Golf Club in Jaipur on April 25, while the Western India Ladies & Junior Girls Championship was held at Kalhaar Blues & Greens in Ahmedabad from April 14–17.

Punjab’s Danish Verma produced four consistent rounds of 72-71-69-70 to post a winning total of 2-over 282, securing the top position in both the Category B and Combined A&B Boys’ divisions.
Verma’s 3-shot victory came over Haryana’s Jaibir Singh Kang and Chandigarh’s Neil Jolly, who finished tied for second at 285. Jolly was also the Category A winner, edging out Ishnidh Virdi (287) and Harman Sachdeva (288).
In Category C, the winner was Vihaan Gajula.

Western India Ladies & Junior Girls Championship
The Kang sisters of Chandigarh dominated the tournament with Ceerat Kang posting a level-par total of 216 to win the Combined Ladies and A&B Girls Category, finishing three strokes ahead of her elder sister Heena Kang, who took the runner-up spot.

In the Junior Girls A category, Aahana Kashyap claimed the top spot with a score of 8-over 224, while Rashi Mishrawon won in Category B with 7-over 223. Rashi also secured the Combined A&B Junior Girls Championship title.
Aida Thimmaiah won the title at 1-over 217 in Category C, ahead of Ojaswini Saraswat and Teesta Singh Sikarwar.
