14-year-old Zara Anand, a student at Shiv Nadar school in Noida, scored a 16 stroke victory at the 9th NCR Cup at Army Golf Course, New Delhi. Anand shot 71-72-70 (3-under 213) to beat Riya Jadon 75-79-75 (13-over 229) in the combined A&B category.
Last year, Anand represented India at the R&A’s Girls U16 Amateur at Enville in England, where she shot 81-79-78 (22-over 238) to finish a highly creditable fourth in the Under-14 category.
